Band of Light is a film production company founded by New York City based filmmaker and visual artist Meshakai Wolf.

We have created content and short films for creative organizations and media outlets such as Tribeca Film, Nowness, HBO, Adult Swim, AIGA/NY, Reservoir Films, Vogue, Style.com, Jungles in Paris, and Planet Magazine.

Our projects have screened internationally at film festivals and won numerous awards around the world. We are currently working on a feature length documentary film on the legendary music venue My Father’s Place, which was located on Long Island from 1971 - 1987. The film is slated for its festival premiere in fall of 2022.
